Weight management built around health—not hype.

A structured, doctor-led programme for adults that looks beyond the scale to medical risk, metabolic context, sustainable behaviour and appropriate follow-up.

A medical problem deserves a medical framework

Weight is influenced by far more than willpower. Sleep, medication, hormones, health conditions, environment, appetite regulation and previous treatment can all matter.

Medify’s approach is designed to identify relevant drivers, screen for risk and build a realistic plan that can be monitored over time. The goal is better health and a sustainable direction—not a rapid, cosmetic promise.

Your starting assessment

A consultation with Dr Luhard may include:

  • Medical, surgical, family and previous weight-treatment history
  • Current medication, supplements, sleep and lifestyle context
  • Blood pressure, body composition and other appropriate measurements
  • Relevant blood investigations when clinically indicated
  • Discussion of realistic priorities, limitations and available options

A plan with more than one component

Medical review

Identify health risks, contributing conditions and treatment factors that should shape the plan.

Nutrition & behaviour

Practical, sustainable habits that support health and can be maintained outside the consultation room.

Prescription options

Where clinically appropriate, prescription treatment may form one part of a monitored programme.

Ongoing review

Progress, response, tolerability and emerging questions are reviewed so the plan can be adjusted safely.

How Medify defines progress

Weight can be one measure, but it is not the only one. Depending on your clinical context, review may also consider:

  • Metabolic and cardiovascular risk markers
  • Body composition, strength and function
  • Energy, sleep, appetite patterns and daily wellbeing
  • Confidence in maintaining the agreed plan
  • Medication tolerance and whether ongoing treatment remains appropriate
No guaranteed result: Individual response differs. Medication, if prescribed, works best within an appropriate medical plan and may cause adverse effects. Suitability and ongoing use are reviewed individually.
